Students
I understand what it's like to be a student itching to both see the world and change the world. These sessions were designed to answer all those questions that old version of me was asking.
In Global Citizen Sessions
we'll try to tackle all those questions you have about how to see the world and impact it positively at the same time. Topics may include: studying, volunteering or internships abroad; exploring helping professions that allow for travel; discussing the realities of international work; building a roadmap and taking the first steps; etc.
Life is short. Don't waste it in one place.
And if you're reading this, you're unspeakably empowered to alleviate suffering and solve problems in a world needing your help.
You are a resource for change. Start investing yourself wisely.
In Study Abroad Pre-Departure Sessions,
we'll talk more specifically about how to prepare for, get the most out of, and make use of lessons from your study abroad experience.
In Volunteer Abroad Pre-Departure Sessions,
we'll get your prepared for volunteering overseas and make sure you: 1) get the most out of your experience, 2) stay safe and healthy, and 3) do the most good you can while you're there.
In Return From Abroad Sessions,
we'll reflect on your recent experience overseas, whether travel, studying, volunteering or working. Our three goals: 1) minimize reverse culture shock, 2) put to good use your lessons learned abroad, and 3) explore and positively impact more of the world.

In NGO and UN Jobs Abroad Sessions,
we'll explore where you'd be best suited in the international nonprofit sector to both find fulfillment and impact the world positively. Then I'll use my decade of industry insights to help you draw a roadmap to an international career you love. More specifically, we'll get into the details of: what options exists, where to find fitting opportunities, how to position yourself as a top candidate, how to apply for roles, how to prepare for interviews, how to speak the language of the industry, what to expect when you depart, how to thrive and open even more interesting opportunities in more places, etc.
